Arthritis—Don’t Let it be a Pain!
According to a study presented at the recent College of Rheumatology meeting in Boston, arthritis-related disability was found to not only be a pain, but also an occupational impediment. Researchers studied 490 people with osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis for more than four years. What they found was that many had to reduce their work hours, switch their occupation or use vacation time and miss work to deal with their arthritis.
